here i am, once again....
im sick of facing my notes all day. thank god's there's lost today.
yesterday, i watched a documentary on pandas on national geographic. Indeed, it was interesting and enjoyable. They are soooo cute!!! I learnt quite a number of facts on pandas..
1. Pandas sniff around.
2. They have 6 "fingers/toes" (what are they called?) paws which is perfect for grabbing long thin bamboos.
3. They may be bulky and look clumsy but they have very agile bodies to climb trees.
4. They "contact" each other by rubbing their bodies against trees to "attach" some smell there so as to let the other pandas noe that they are/were there when the pandas smell it. (so they can locate him) or by....
5. making noises. (i seriously didn't know that. I tot they are silent bears) They shout quite adorably u noe! especially the cubs. shout like little baby humans do. they "woof!" too. Haha...
You should see the newborn cub! (which is super rare they say, since pandas are endangered species) They look like naked mouse (2 palms size) except that they have white hairs on them.
But those are not my points. My points are.....full grown pandas........
1. They eat up to 14 hours a day. *stunned*
2. They have to eat till they are very very full, and then they will sleep.
And no......they don't go home to sleep. They sleep on the spot where they last ate. regardless of fear for predators. if any. After waking up it's eating time again!! :D :D :D
I am thinking........I AM THINKING how fantastic it wud be if i were to be a panda huh!!! so shiok....hahaa...
but sadly, these species are depleting!!! Noooo......!!!!! Often caught by humans who try to save the cubs but most die within a year. Verdict is they can't live in the arms of humans. Stop catching them and stop the chinamen from chopping down their habitat!!
Ok....that's all for animal-facts-after-fatigue..aka A.F.A.F. (fatigue due to studying....)
stay tuned for more A.F.A.F. ...that is if there's still any of the preview of national geographic...right sarah rite? huahua!
