did volunteer work at the CBD area yesterday..it was Ah Gong Ah Ma Day..so dawn eve and me were selling chopsticks to raise funds of the Lions Home for the Elders. We set off and decided to go to Outram Park to sell..the ulu place where we though no one would go..haha..and yep..we parked right outside the MRT station and took action. Well...got some tip offs from the many old aunties..and of course nicer ppl...and some uncles were really funny..I was holding up 6 designs of the chopsticks..and one uncle approached me and asked.."girl!! u selling knives ah!?!" I was luffing man...and in the end he didn't bother to donate some money....(-_-:)
Then we went to dhoby ghaut for lunch and to Chinatown again to sell more chopsticks...at the end of the day we sold around 60 chopsticks out of 300!!! (each costs $2) Not bad ok..i saw this guy he only sold 2 chopsticks...it's really tough selling them early in the morning where people rush from one place to another..
was dead tired after that..but the winnie the pooh picture taking session at Raffles City Shopping Centre lightened me up..was laughing at Piglet....Piglet was like wearing a pink striped dress instead of his body..haha...
