SCAS 2nd day..
was quite fulfilling, and i started to feel comfortable with the kids over there..so i stayed from 1pm to about 5pm..they really need more people to help out..yep..it's quite fun to be with them..can communicate better with them already..haha..yay~
Hmm...i was quite surprised when Joyce (the teacher in charge) told me that Mikail and some of the kids are around 11, 12 years old! Oh my, they're only 5 years younger than me..and i tot they are 5 year olds..and the biggest size girl in the class is only 6. O_O Haha..
Volunteering at the SCAS brings me back to my young days again. Why? Cos when im with them, it feels that I'm their age and then we play simple games and mingle with each other...a child's world where there's no such thing as embarrassment..hey, when did that word ever come into our lives when we were learning Humpty Dumpty? I felt that i was reliving the kindergarten times.. really a good way to destress after a tiring day..
tomolo, i'll be selling tealight candles for charity from 9am to 3pm. All proceeds will go to the Boys' Town. Each candle costs $2. So if you're free or happen to be around, come and support us at Tampines MRT!!!!
