here i am. yesterday was the last day of yjc orientation. It was fun though. Really! Didn't expect that..cos Friday was suky. Boring boring boring. But yesterday was another thing for me. The first thing we did in the morning was to learn the dance for the Jam & Hop to be held later in the night. The song chosen was err..i dunno wad title but it's a retro song.. it goes like this.."I love u baby~ and if it's quite alright I love u baby..." sumthing likedat. haha..Learning that was fun..and the ogls insisted us on finding a guy partner to dance with. But bcos our grp has 18 girls and 6 boys..so we had to take turns..but for the real dance everybody took part in it. The ogls went to search for other male ogls for us. Everyone danced really well. I'll show u all next time. Haha...
The male ogls there are hilarious. cheeky. childish. while the female ogls are more serious and silent. I wonder why they wore their secondary school shirt to school yesterday. Feels like.."Hey everybody! I was from Catholic High!" "Hi! Me was from ACS.." Im quite surprised my ogl was from ACS. Didn't look like so. Din expect one to be in YJC either. My fren from T5 even said, "huh? he's from ACS? dun look like leh..not handsome one..." Everyone says that ACS boys are very handsome. Can see thru from their faces..haha..i dunno..i neber see those boys b4...My ogl..he grumbles quite often. Shouts for attention. Mebbe he's too protective of my grp..everytime he would shout..."T5! where's the spirit" "T5! enthu a bit k!" And he gets mad for our team too..haha...But he really grumbles. At the ogcs...And he picks on me!! ARghhh...We had a competition with the rest of the other CTGs and we had to complete 5 games..there's this game.. where we need one representative to be blindfolded and he/she will have to walk thru a maze with the guidance of the rest of the teams...den my ogl said a small sized person would be the best..and he pointed at me. OH COME ON! Obviously i am not the smallest sized girl...there are about 2/3 girls in my team who are shorter than me,slimmer than me okay!! To ogl: Ur estimation very bad!!! We won first for that game..all thanks to the petite girl from China. Our team is pretty good u noe..won quite a number of games. A number of great moments happened. too many to be said here. hee hee..And at the mass dance I was the most unfortunate one to dance with him. He borrowed me from my partner for awhile to show the boys wad the steps the boys should do. (boys have their own steps..girls have others..) Sheesh. And he called me to relax. (=_=:) And during the real dance He stood beside me and Oh man i had to dance with him again...(becos the dance we change partners for every complete verse of the song) And after i changed to another partner he accidentally banged me in the hip bone. Ouch.
Following..we attended the NUS NTU SMU talk..for 2 hrs..quite enriching..and den the treasure hunt...our ogl lost a card for the activity..and we didn't really complete the obstacle course for each station..haha we cheated...and wow..we got 3rd!! Actually we could get 2nd..but didn't due to the delay caused by the ogl-in-charge in a particular station...but nvm! we got 3rd anyway.. =D
After that we learnt the college song..and we could not really catch the tune...becos the ogls sang very awfully. out of tune summore. And our group anyhow sang our way thru the song..haha..after the yucky dinner we had...we had a prize presentation....T5 got 5th!!! Weee....not bad for having to compete with like 20 over groups...so proud..haha..
And to end the orientation...(yah so faz end of orientation) we had the Jam & Hop session at the hall..the whole atmosphere was disco-like..dark..yet so many colourful lights flashing around..and the water spray attached to the fans..(like the ones u see at coffeeshops) Oh yah we had to wear a green ribbon round our finger before we get in. (err..unnecessary...nvm) Everyone went crazy when the loud booming music came one.really. JUmP JumP...shook theiR bon bons...except me and some of my frens...all like outcasts..haha..paiseh..lol...but we joined in the train dance. erm...the one that u put ur hands on ur fren's shoulders and run...i heard there was somebody wrestling too.. stupid...and oh yah..there were 4 male ogls..really hilarious! 4 of them hugged each other and jump in circles...and they hopped over one another...and carry each other and ran around..may not sound funny here but...lol..i really just enjoyed watching them that time.. =P
By then it was around 9 already..time goo homme...suddenly my ogl became serious and he said, "pls dun come to YJC if u can go to other better jcs." He elaborated why..and he stopped. He seemed that he would break down if he continued further. *shrugs* At that time was like very touching likedat. Summore he said is end of orientation liao..mebbe last time to see each other..and he even asked if we liked us. Not once. Not twice. Many. Not consecutively but thru the day..Cos they really wanted a very good YES. And we uh..most of the time gave a forceful yes. Until that night. Some good things are saved for the last you know.
